Taking the step to reach out for help is very courageous and perhaps the first step toward making those significant life changes you desire. Although it may seem scary to look within, that is where all the answers lie, and I am committed to sharing the journey alongside you. I believe those I work with share the most extraordinary gift with me, and that is themselves, the good, the bad, the ugly. Your authentic self must be treasured, protected, and preserved at all costs.
I am a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with over 15 years of experience working with those suffering from Substance Use Disorder (SUD). I earned my BA in Psychology from Winston-Salem State University. I provide individual and group sessions focusing on my guests' mind, body, and spiritual needs. I also offer couples and family sessions to help establish healthy boundaries and repair relationships between my guests and their loved ones. My goal is to not only provide hope to those who may feel hopeless but provide solutions as well.
Whether you are struggling with debilitating anxiety, a new life transition, or addiction, counseling can help you start that new beginning. Studies show that the combination of counseling and medication is the most effective treatment for many concerns. I look forward to having the opportunity to share in your journey.
